OSSC Assistant Librarian Syllabus 2022 | New Free Job Alert
OSSC Assistant Librarian Syllabus: The Assistant Librarian syllabus and exam pattern have been released recently. There is one Assistant Librarian post vacancy available under OSSC. The OSSC will conduct a computer-based examination to shortlist the candidate for the post.
The selection process will be three- stages:
- Written Examination
- Skill Test
- Certificate Verification
1. Written Examination
Written Examination is consist of 100 marks and the time duration will be 90 minutes. The questions will be MCQ type and there will be negative marking for each wrong answer 0.25 will be deducted.

Paper- I: (1). General English:- Comprehension of a given passage, vocabulary, Usage & Grammar.
(2). Odia Language:- Comprehension of a given passage, vocabulary, Usage & Grammar.
(3). General Studies:- General Science, current affairs environmental issue, Human rights issue, Indian Polity, Indian History, Geography, reasoning & mental abilities.
Paper-II: Library and Information Science.
2. Skill Test
The practical skill test will be conducted for 50 marks which are based on computer applications.
i.e. Windows, MS Office(Word, Excel & Powerpoint), MS Access & Usage of Internet services.
3. Certificate Verification
The 3rd stage is certificate verification. Those candidates who are qualifying for written tests and skill tests will invite for certificate verification.
